Xerox announced earlier this week that it has a new paper, digital carbonless paper, available for the Xerox iGen3. The Xerox DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production Press is the largest and most powerful digital color copier available from Xerox today.
The new paper is treated to allow in-plant printing operations and commercial printers to print multi-part bank statements at between 90 and 110 pages per minute depending on whether a customer owns the Xerox iGen3 or Xerox iGen3 110.
According to the press release, the Digital Carbonless paper will allow printers to highlight content or add company logos in color. Moreover, multi-part bank statement can now be printed on-demand, rather than off pre-printed forms.
"Our customers have had great success printing multi-part forms on-demand using Xerox's carbonless paper," said Steve Simpson, vice president, Xerox Supplies Business Group. "Customers have reported saving up to 40 percent in cost and up to 50 percent in time using carbonless paper instead of manually collating sets of documents."
The Xerox iGen3 is the latest machine that can use the carbonless digital paper, which was introduced last year to work with black-and-white and color digital copiers.
